Quartz for Glass Industry

Iron directly influences both the colour and light transmission of glass. We therefore prepare quartz products for glass manufacturers with SiO₂ content of 99.5% by weight or above and low iron oxide content.

Rapid, uniform melting in the furnace is closely related to a narrow grain size distribution. Maintaining a narrow range after screening reduces melting time and production losses.
